Mother’s Day Attire

Ever since I could walk I was already into high heels. I actually pulled a thigh muscle when I was about 6 years old because I was running around in my dress-up heels. I was always the type of girl who over-dressed for any occasion. I learned from my mom and grandma to always be ready and dressed for anything. This also included having an outfit and accessories on point. Hence why my blog name has “heels” in it. After I found out I was pregnant I was afraid of me falling down while wearing my high heels so I completely stopped wearing them. After Addi was born I was ready to feel myself  again and to get all dressed up. That lasted a day because I realized I wasn’t comfortable wearing high heels and carrying a little one around. I was also afraid I wold fall while holding her.

Fast forward 6 years and two little ones later, I find myself getting dressed up more and more. Specially when it is gno or date night. My little Emmi finally walks on her own so I don’t feel scared of having to carry her while walking in heels. I know some women do it and they amaze me but I just can’t seem to do both at the same time, ha ha. When I met spencer he would sometimes tell me I should dress down a little. I didn’t even own a pair of sneakers till we had been dating for a while. And I am pretty sure he bought them for me. Today I do like to have my mom-uniform on, which includes some leggings a comfy tee and some sneakers, but I will always love to get dressed up a but.

If you need a little inspiration for this mothers day, I hope you like this look.
