Lounging With Antipodes Merino Sleep Sack

Spencer and I have been so lucky that both our babies have been great sleepers. Since the early newborn stages. Addi would wake up hungry, feed, and go back to sleep. Emmi was the same, she was breastfed until she was one but really only woke up to nurse and go straight back to sleep. We never really had any problems with sleep training Addi or Emmi. Both of them also sleep really good through the nights, 12 hours or so, and Emmi still naps sometimes twice a day. Besides hearing the usual whine at night that usually means Emmi is looking for her binky, the only other time I notice her wake up is when she is too hot or too cold. I don’t blame her I am totally the same say. Being uncomfortable at night keeps me awake at times. I don’t really use a blanket with Emmi because it ends up all bunched up at the foot of her crib and I always feel so bad that she probably slept uncovered!

When Antipodes Merino reached out to me I thought finally, “my prayers have been answered!” and not just mine, I am sure parents all over have thought about finding a product for their babies that is safe and can keep the little ones warm and cool at night. If you are wondering how is this possible, you are not alone. I thought the same exact thing, but I was intrigued to know more and try this sleep slack for ourselves. This sleep sack is all around amazing. It is something I will put on any baby registry list. I love that it is hypo-allergenic, anti-odor, and antibacterial. They are made from 100% merino wool and organic cotton which means that they can be worn year round no matter the weather conditions. Lear more here

Emmi has loved wearing it when we lounge around. It has a zipper around the bottom for easy middle of the night diaper changes. The top has snaps for easy on-and-off. Your babies can literally wear this all day long. There are these front and back pockets, that are called seat belt slots and I had thought about it but had no idea that it could be used for that. So I thought that was a super neat idea! So on our recent road trip I tried it and I was glad that Emmi could nap in the car seat and not worry about having to cover her over and over again. Besides the sleep sacks Antipodes Merino also has swaddle blankets which I can imagine are the same soft material as the sleeping sacks. And if you are wondering if they are machine washable, well they are! SO go ahead and check them out here. They would make great baby shower gifts.
